Aerial View of Cape Town Flying Club

Cape Town Flying Club is located at Cape Town International Airport. This is an ideal training location as students are exposed to Air Traffic Control (ATC) from their very first lesson, and will not later be intimidated by complicated airspaces, or by the stress of slotting in between large aircraft. It is extremely exciting to watch a Jumbo landing 50 ft away from you. Some students have even been seen waving to the passengers in the terminal buildings as they taxi past.

Directions from Cape Town

Proceed East along the N2 (Settlers Way). Exit the freeway at exit number 16 (Airport Approach Road). Keep left and take the Borcherds Quarry Road exit before the bridge.
